The Spider and the Atheist

For many years atheists used to criticize this likening, but the scientific researches had proved the accuracy of the verses of Qur’an …
Allah almighty says:
”The likeness of those who take Auliya' (protectors and helpers) other than Allah is as the likeness of a spider, who builds (for itself) a house, but verily, the frailest (weakest) of houses is the spider's house; if they but knew.”[ Sûrat Al-‘Ankabût(The Spider)-verse41], this is a wonderful verse to prove the greatness of the holy Qur’an and to be a clear reply on atheists who claim that the Qur’an is a human made.

The Secrets of Answering the Supplication to Allah

A question I have always thought about it: why doesn’t ALLAH answer our supplications although ALLAH almighty had promised to answer them? Then, my journey of reading and comprehending the Holy Quranic verses started.….

ALLAH Almighty speaks to his beloved Muhamed “peace be upon him” in his Holy Quran: (and when my slaves ask you (O Muhamed) concerning me, then (answer them), I am indeed near (to them by My knowledge). I respond to the invocations of the supplicant when he calls on Me( without any mediator or intercessor). So let them obey Me and believe in Me, so that they may be led aright) [Al-baqarah: 186]. This is a proof that ALLAH almighty is close to us, hears and responds to our invocations. What has caught my attention is that ALLAH the majesty responds to our supplications, but how can we respond to him (When he calls on Me), and does he need our answers?

Celebrating Your Country's National Day

Does Islam allow you to celebrate your county’s National Day?

Every country has its National Day. This day is not a religious festival. The new holidays that we as Muslims are prohibited from introducing into our lives are new religious holidays. We are not prohibited from other occasions where people get together for one reason or another. People celebrate their marriages, they celebrate the birth of a new child. They might celebrate any number of other occasions, and there is nothing wrong with this, as long as their celebration is not a religious observance.

Patience and victory are twin brothers

Allaah has made patience like a horse that never gets tired, an army that can never be defeated and a strong fortress that can never be breached. Patience and victory are twin brothers, for victory comes with patience, relief comes with distress and ease comes with hardship. Patience is of more help to the one who has it than men, as it helps without any need for equipment or numbers and its relationship to victory is like that of the head to the body.

In the Qur’aan, Allaah has guaranteed those who are patient that He will give them reward without measure.

He tells them that He is with them by guiding and supporting them and granting them a clear victory. Allaah says:
إِنَّ اللَّـهَ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ ﴾ ﴿
“Surely, Allaah is with those who patiently persevere” [al-Anfaal 8:46]
